Whenever you see a post in this blog which is related to mobile, there may be some screen shots of the same. You can also take the images of screen shots from your mobile. I am discussing about an application which will work in all Nokia 'Symbian S60 V5' mobiles. Check compatibility with other models. You already know that you can download exciting applications, games, themes,etc from the Nokia Ovi Store. It is located in the menu groups.
Open Ovi Store and browse through applications. There you will get a simple application for taking screen shot. The name of the application is 'Screen snap'. Download and install the application in your phone. In the below picture, you can locate the 'Nokia Store' (Ovi Store) and the 'Screensnap' application.
Open the software and it will look like this.
Tap on Shortcut key and set the key you want to use for taking screen shots. Here I am used ' CameraShutter (long). By 'long' it means, just pressing the camera button half way as we are focusing in real camera. It will take a screen shot of the current screen. 'Delay' means the delay in taking the snap after you press the button. Set zero for instant snap. Make experiments with other menus also.
Select the option 'hide' on the bottom right and the application will now be hidden. Open any screen and press the button for taking the screen shot of that screen.
Remember, if you want to take a real photo using your camera, don't forget to go to 'Screensnap' and Choose 'exit' from the Options menu.
