How to upload files to hosting server using ftp?

This article is not for beginner computer users. This is related to internet and webdesign.
Hope you are  ready with your website designed in your computer. Now the next step is getting a domain name and web hosting. Read the articles about getting a domain name and hosting to know how to do this. After getting the control panels, the next task is
uploading the files to a server where you got the space. To do this, we have to use ftp (File Transfer Protocol). We can upload files to hosting server through three ways.

One is to go to the control panel of hosting server and through file manager, upload files. The second option is using FileZilla, an ftp client which will make the task easier. The third way can be done without any third party clients. Here I am discussing the third way.

For that, we need a working internet connection. Here we are not about to use any web browsers. Simply double click on 'My Computer' ('Computer' in windows7) and type ftp.yourdomain.com (Eg: ftp.example.com) in the top bar (where the computer shows folder path). After waiting a few seconds it will ask you for username and password of web hosting account. Your hosting provider will give you these details.

After entering username and password, within a few seconds, the computer will show you some folders in the hosting server. Locate the folder 'public_html' and double click to open it. Then, Copy all files of the website from your computer and paste it inside 'public_html'. It may take some time depending on the connection speed, size of file, etc. Now you are successfully completed all the steps of uploading the files to hosting space. Type in your domain name in a web browser and enjoy your creativity. Please note that the file name of your home page should be 'index.html'.

Any one of your friends ever asked you about this? Refer them this blog.
