Want to format your Nokia? I think the reason behind formatting your mobile will be some virus attack. Try to install some antivirus software for mobile. If it doesn't work, you should format your mobile phone. There are two ways through which we can format a mobile. Hard Reset and Soft reset. Soft reset means resetting Nokia by means of giving it a command through keypad. Hard reset means the same but it requires some key combinations simultaneously.
Before making a reset attempt, make sure that all the data including SMS and Phonebook is backed up. Resetting of phone will not erase contents of memory card.
For a soft reset of your Nokia mobile, Dial *#7370# in the Keypad, press. The mobile phone will ask you for security password. Enter the password for resetting your mobile. If you don't changed your password, the default password for Nokia mobiles is 12345.
Unfortunately there are different ways for hard formatting on different models. For example, if you are using a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, try the following for a hard reset.
